El Retorno de Palermo's Amancio Urtats proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 12th minute of the match, managed to save El Retorno de Palermo from getting a goal against them. In the 14th match minute, Quinnys Disco Pants was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Henry Simms to maneuver through the defense. Amancio Urtats made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Robin Day in the 27th minute of play. Rigoberto Anaya fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sly Harrison having to interfere. 33 minutes into the match, El Retorno de Palermo's goalkeeper Amancio Urtats had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Mike Sinclair. With his leg Amancio Urtats managed to avoid a goal in the 34thth minute, when Quinnys Disco Pants's Mike Sinclair fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Robin Day received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 36th minute. Amancio Urtats tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 38th match minute, Quinnys Disco Pants was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dom Norton to maneuver through the defense. In the 41st match minute, El Retorno de Palermo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rigoberto Anaya to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ismael Musko in the 48th minute of play forced Quinnys Disco Pants's goalkeeper Sly Harrison to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Ismael Musko made a kick off. 57 minutes into the match, Quinnys Disco Pants's goal looked a bit too open when Rigoberto Anaya came free, but Sly Harrison reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jacob Worrall hit a great freekick 58 minutes into the match. 61 minutes into the game, Quinnys Disco Pants's Rowan Searle nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Amancio Urtats made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. If Robin Day had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. El Retorno de Palermo's Amancio Urtats played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mike Sinclair in the 70th minute of play. Osvaldo Tiniebra received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Sly Harrison came out and tried to block the shot, but Osvaldo Tiniebra slotted it home off the left post making it 1-1 in the 71st minute. Ismael Musko received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 76th minute. Sly Harrison tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Sly Harrison was a little too slow when Osvaldo Tiniebra got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 78th minute. The score was now 1-2. Amancio Urtats showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Robin Day in the 85th minute of the match. Mike Sinclair struck a weak shot in the 90th minute. Amancio Urtats didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Quinnys Disco Pants. A collision led to Quinnys Disco Pants getting a freekick after 91 minutes play. Victor Morse hit a great ball. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched El Retorno de Palermo eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
