When Jack Neffin fell near the penalty area in the 4th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Give Peace a Chance's protests and gave Jack Neffin a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Give Peace a Chance's Jack Neffin got a free kick in the 4th minute. The supporters of Give Peace a Chance booed when GLADIADORES was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 7 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bernardo Félix didn't get a good kick on the ball. Leslie Knuth recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 9th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a rather tough play, GLADIADORES's Zeca Guimarães got a free kick in the 11th minute. After 13 minutes, Siegfried Breitlinger mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Give Peace a Chance and the GLADIADORES players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 13th match minute, Give Peace a Chance was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Siegfried Breitlinger to maneuver through the defense. Moritz Weidt came out of the goal in the 14th minute to try and stop a shot by GLADIADORES's Dorival Sarmento. But to his dismay, Dorival Sarmento quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Eurico Arantes showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Özcan Weiser, who was totally free with the ball in the 18th minute. Eurico Arantes had great luck who in the 18thth minute grab hold of the ball when Özcan Weiser from a short distance tried to put the ball inside the right post. Zeca Guimarães struck a weak shot in the 19th minute. Moritz Weidt didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for GLADIADORES. Moritz Weidt took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Flavinho Brodel, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Zeca Guimarães hit a great freekick 22 minutes into the match. With a little luck, GLADIADORES's Eurico Arantes got control of the ball when Kort Schinnenburg tried to sneak it across the goal line. Moritz Weidt made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dorival Sarmento in the 26th minute of play. The supporters of GLADIADORES booed when Give Peace a Chance was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 29 match minutes in a wonderful position. Leslie Knuth didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 34th minute, GLADIADORES's Enio Moraes seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Enio Moraes the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of GLADIADORES protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Enio Moraes had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. GLADIADORES's Ezequiel Pombal was substituted for Zeca Guimarães. In the 34th minute, one of GLADIADORES:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for GLADIADORES. A collision led to Give Peace a Chance getting a freekick after 47 minutes play. Ralf Schadenfroh hit a great ball. In the 50th minute, Flavinho Brodel got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Flavinho Brodel made a kick off. 56 minutes into the match, GLADIADORES's goal looked a bit too open when Özcan Weiser came free, but Eurico Arantes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 58th minute, Flavinho Brodel hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Dorival Sarmento fell near the penalty area in the 59th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored GLADIADORES's protests and gave Dorival Sarmento a yellow card for diving instead. Dorival Sarmento hit a great freekick 59 minutes into the match. When Genílson Queirós fell near the penalty area in the 63rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The audience thought a goal was coming when Flavinho Brodel got free with Moritz Weidt in the 65th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Kort Schinnenburg during the 69th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Moritz Weidt made a fantastic save in the 71st minute, when Dorival Sarmento sent off a good shot on target. Valdir Sergipano recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 75th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a rather tough play, Give Peace a Chance's Kort Schinnenburg got a free kick in the 77th minute. After 81 minutes of play, GLADIADORES's Flavinho Brodel made it 1-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Moritz Weidt was left in no man's land by his defense there! Eurico Arantes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kort Schinnenburg in the 84th minute of play. The supporters of Give Peace a Chance booed when GLADIADORES was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 86 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cido Goiano didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 87th minute of the match Leslie Knuth shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Eurico Arantes showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. When Özcan Weiser fell near the penalty area in the 90th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Give Peace a Chance's protests and gave Özcan Weiser a yellow card for diving instead. In the 90th minute, Özcan Weiser hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Moritz Weidt made an important save on a dangerous shot by Genílson Queirós in the 96th minute. Eurico Arantes didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Özcan Weiser went, in the 98th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-2 was the resulting score. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
