When Koen Vrede fell near the penalty area in the 11th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored SV Wissenkerke's protests and gave Koen Vrede a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, SV Wissenkerke's Koen Vrede got a free kick in the 11th minute. The crowd rose to their feet as Kekambas FC's Leonel Enaut slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Kenneth van der Leegte. That made the score 3-0 after 14 minutes of play. Kenneth van der Leegte was a little too slow when Alonzo Pirro got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 17th minute. The score was now 4-0. The audience was convinced that Gerjan Staarman's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Esteve Iratxo was relentless in the 20th minute of the game. In the 23rd minute, Leonel Enaut left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Kekambas FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 5-0. Dirk Holt hit a great freekick 25 minutes into the match. If Izaak Kluivert had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Esteve Iratxo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dirk Holt, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Izaak Kluivert fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Esteve Iratxo having to interfere. In the 47thth minute of the game Gerjan Staarman who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Kekambas FC's Esteve Iratxo was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Af the end of the first half the score was 5-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

SV Wissenkerke's Kenneth van der Leegte played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Paolo Larpe in the 52nd minute of play. Koen Vrede fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Esteve Iratxo having to interfere. 57 minutes into the match, SV Wissenkerke's goal looked a bit too open when Esteban Lazcano came free, but Kenneth van der Leegte reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Kenneth van der Leegte took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Esteban Lazcano, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to Kekambas FC getting a freekick after 61 minutes play. Fernando Bertol hit a great ball. In the 62nd minute of the match Gerjan Staarman shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Esteve Iratxo showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. In the 64th minute, Izaak Kluivert hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 67 minutes into the game, Kekambas FC's Alonzo Pirro nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Kenneth van der Leegte made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 6-0. 70 minutes into the match, Kekambas FC's goal looked a bit too open when Dirk Holt came free, but Esteve Iratxo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to SV Wissenkerke getting a freekick after 78 minutes play. Izaak Kluivert hit a great ball. After some careless play in the SV Wissenkerke defense, Esteban Lazcano kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Kenneth van der Leegte. The SV Wissenkerke fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Kenneth van der Leegte should have stopped the shot. Esteve Iratxo was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Izaak Kluivert showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 7-1 in the 88 minute of play. 91 minutes into the game, Leonel Enaut cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 8-1. Kenneth van der Leegte was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. When the referee ended the match the Kekambas FC players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
