In the 7th minute César Maia shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lance Haßke saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. STARGARD FC's Lance Haßke played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by César Maia in the 7th minute of play. Werneck FC - DMZ's Caio Ceresso got a good chance for a goal in the 8th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When Werneck FC - DMZ's Fernando Vinhas in the 10th minute got a chance for a shot 10th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye STARGARD FC's goalie prevented a goal. Lance Haßke showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fernando Vinhas in the 13th minute of the match. Délio Fantini made a fantastic save in the 14th minute, when Roque Reuter sent off a good shot on target. The Werneck FC - DMZ fans' excitement grew in the 16th match minute when Werneck FC - DMZ's Fernando Vinhas looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ruy Favoretto in the 22nd minute of play forced STARGARD FC's goalkeeper Lance Haßke to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. César Maia struck a weak shot in the 23rd minute. Lance Haßke didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Werneck FC - DMZ. 27 minutes into the game, Caio Ceresso cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Lance Haßke was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The supporters of STARGARD FC booed when Werneck FC - DMZ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 30 match minutes in a wonderful position. Oséas Urbano didn't get a good kick on the ball. Werneck FC - DMZ's Délio Fantini proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 32nd minute of the match, managed to save Werneck FC - DMZ from getting a goal against them. After 33 minutes of play, STARGARD FC's Roque Reuter made it 1-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Délio Fantini was left in no man's land by his defense there! The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Fernando Vinhas during the 37th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Lance Haßke showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fernando Vinhas, who was totally free with the ball in the 43rd minute. If Hortêncio Godoi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Roque Reuter stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Lance Haßke was a little too slow when Fernando Vinhas got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 55th minute. The score was now 1-3. Roque Reuter scored 2-3 in the 59th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Délio Fantini, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alfred Junitz in the 61st minute of play forced Werneck FC - DMZ's goalkeeper Délio Fantini to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Eusébio Marquez lost his temper 62 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. Zézinho Severo charged in rather forcefully in the 65th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Zézinho Severo the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 65th match minute, Werneck FC - DMZ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Zézinho Severo to maneuver through the defense. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 67th minute of the game. One of STARGARD FC:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Werneck FC - DMZ:s goal. The referee gave Werneck FC - DMZ a penalty, 69 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Zézinho Fantini, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of STARGARD FC's Lance Haßke. 2-4. If Fernando Vinhas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hortêncio Godoi in the 77th minute of play forced STARGARD FC's goalkeeper Lance Haßke to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 81 played minutes Hortêncio Godoi rounded STARGARD FC's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 2-5. In the 84th match minute, STARGARD FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alfred Junitz to maneuver through the defense. In the 87th minute Hortêncio Godoi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lance Haßke saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Fernando Vinhas got free with Lance Haßke in the 88th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Caio Ceresso fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lance Haßke having to interfere. Lance Haßke took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hortêncio Godoi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Fernando Vinhas took the ball and in the 95 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Lance Haßke. Lance Haßke dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-6. Werneck FC - DMZ's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
