Jotautas Gutauskas made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-3. In the 16th minute, Marius Medišauskas hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Airūnas Milius kicked well hit freekick during the 29th minute of the match. Kroton F.C.'s Donato Madonna proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 32nd minute of the match, managed to save Kroton F.C. from getting a goal against them. Rupertas Budreckas hit a great freekick 33 minutes into the match. Jotautas Gutauskas showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fabio Cavaliere in the 35th minute of the match. The supporters of Kings booed when Kroton F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 37 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ciccio Ruggieri didn't get a good kick on the ball. 42 minutes into the match, Kroton F.C.'s goalkeeper Donato Madonna had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Rupertas Budreckas. But to his dismay, Fabio Cavaliere quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-5. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-5.

In the 52nd minute, Valdemaras Alukas ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Donato Madonna was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-5. Aistis Mečionis sent away a hard shot on goal in the 56th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With 61 minutes on the clock, Airūnas Milius commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. A collision led to Kings getting a freekick after 61 minutes play. Airūnas Milius hit a great ball. Kroton F.C.'s Ciccio Ruggieri got a good chance for a goal in the 62nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The referee ignored Kings's protests and gave Algirdas Kšanavičius a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Kings getting a freekick after 64 minutes play. Algirdas Kšanavičius hit a great ball. Jotautas Gutauskas took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ciccio Ruggieri, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When the match had gone on for 80 minutes, Ernesto Margoni took a quick shot and it went in 2-6 without a chance for Jotautas Gutauskas to make any attempt to save it. Donato Madonna came out of the goal and Rupertas Budreckas tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Kroton F.C. eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
