In the 5th minute of the match, Natã Carioca got a very nice opportunity to score, but Martyon Death was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. If Beto Trigo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 10th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Rodborough getting a freekick after 18 minutes play. Clifford Copelin hit a great ball. In the 27th minute, Jurassic Monsters SA's Natã Carioca ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Martyon Death. Martyon Death yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-0. Zézinho Brito made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bickford Cochrane in the 35th minute of play. When Todd Nelson fell near the penalty area in the 37th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Rodborough's protests and gave Todd Nelson a yellow card for diving instead. Robinho Arósio took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 38th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Martyon Death. Rodborough's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. With a little luck, Rodborough's Martyon Death got control of the ball when Natã Carioca tried to sneak it across the goal line. After 42 minutes, Clifford Copelin mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Rodborough and the Jurassic Monsters SA players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 42 played minutes Rodborough got a freekick which was hit by Clifford Copelin. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-0.

Jurassic Monsters SA's Wiliam Alvarenga was substituted for Célio Gerber. In the 53rd minute, Natã Carioca ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Martyon Death was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bickford Cochrane in the 64th minute of play forced Jurassic Monsters SA's goalkeeper Zézinho Brito to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 70th minute Angelo Almeida shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Martyon Death saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Jurassic Monsters SA's Perivaldo Lopez got a free kick in the 74th minute. The crowd rose to their feet as Rodborough's Bickford Cochrane slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Zézinho Brito. That made the score 5-1 after 75 minutes of play. Martyon Death showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Natã Carioca in the 83rd minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bock Maddern in the 91st minute of play forced Jurassic Monsters SA's goalkeeper Zézinho Brito to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 93 minutes into the match, Beto Trigo had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Martyon Death. Rodborough's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Beto Trigo was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 7-1. The Jurassic Monsters SA support was delighted with a win in a match that could easily have ended differently.
