Kaj Högberg fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 12th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Calistrat Prislop having to interfere. In the 29th match minute, Peace Home Street Boys was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rune Gustafsson to maneuver through the defense. Leonardo Sundström took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Narcis Arapașu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some fancy dribbling in the 45th minute, Egil Åberg managed to get in a good position for a shot. Peace Home Street Boys's supporters rose to their feet, but Egil Åberg was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Calistrat Prislop breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Filiph Brummer made a kick off. Costel Vlas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 53rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of Peace Home Street Boys booed when MCB Timisoara 1921 BTV was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 55 match minutes in a wonderful position. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Calistrat Prislop showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. After 84 minutes, Costel Vlas mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the MCB Timisoara 1921 BTV and the Peace Home Street Boys players grew even worse after the yellow card. Costel Vlas hit a great freekick 85 minutes into the match. In the 91st minute Filiph Brummer shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Calistrat Prislop saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Neither set of supporters seemed pleased with the draw, but both teams had played equally well today.
