Jefferson de Amorim sent away a hard shot on goal in the 18th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Allan Neves had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jefferson de Amorim in the 29thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Aurelio Sabin, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. 31 minutes into the game, Jefferson de Amorim cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. With his leg João Francisco Corrêa managed to avoid a goal in the 76thth minute, when Guansa's Cristobal Bartoleme fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. If Jefferson de Amorim had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some careless play in the Guansa defense, Jefferson de Amorim kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Aurelio Sabin. The Guansa fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Aurelio Sabin should have stopped the shot. In the 89th minute, Zacarias Fagildo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Marcelo Estefan during the 92nd minute. Guansa's Aurelio Sabin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Allan Neves in the 93rd minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Bartolo Oto got free with João Francisco Corrêa in the 96th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort.
