In a very dangerous position, a player in Hvam FC fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 38th minute. Penalty! In the 42nd minute there was a penalty for La Candela FC. Benigno Ricart stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Hugo Hørbøll. 0-2. A collision led to La Candela FC getting a freekick after 46 minutes play. Carlos Salinas hit a great ball. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Timo Børløs made a kick off. La Candela FC's Cesar Liher was substituted for Froilan Olivar. Angel Taurino could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 65th minute of the match, but Hugo Hørbøll made a huge save. Hugo Hørbøll was a little too slow when Benigno Ricart got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 66th minute. The score was now 0-3. Alfredo Rojas could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 69th minute of the match, but Hugo Hørbøll made a huge save. With a little luck, Hvam FC's Hugo Hørbøll got control of the ball when Alfredo Rojas tried to sneak it across the goal line.
