The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. The supporters of Apocalípticos & Caóticos booed when Gutenberg was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 6 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bernardo Lawrence didn't get a good kick on the ball. Sebastian Rojelio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Clemente Txema in the 7th minute of play. Sebastian Rojelio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Clemente Txema in the 20th minute of the match. In the 21stth minute of the game Baldomero Marcones who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Apocalípticos & Caóticos's Fulgencio Garaile was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 22nd minute, Santo Dominguez hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Clemente Txema in the 23rd minute of play forced Gutenberg's goalkeeper Sebastian Rojelio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Sebastian Rojelio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Clemente Txema, who was totally free with the ball in the 24th minute. When the match had gone on for 28 minutes, Baldomero Marcones took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Fulgencio Garaile to make any attempt to save it. After a rather tough play, Gutenberg's Teofilo George got a free kick in the 33rd minute. Santo Dominguez who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 36thth minute tested the skills of Fulgencio Garaile when he managed to save the team from getting behind. If Santo Dominguez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cipriano Bilintx in the 47th minute of play forced Gutenberg's goalkeeper Sebastian Rojelio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.

Apocalípticos & Caóticos made a substitution. Alejandro Ciano replaced David Guib. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Baldomero Marcones to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 56th match minute, Apocalípticos & Caóticos was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Emiliano Diaz to maneuver through the defense. In the 58th minute Clemente Txema shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sebastian Rojelio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Baldomero Marcones came up free with the goalie in the 62nd minute, the Gutenberg fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Baldomero Marcones couldn't finish the play. When Segundo Ireno fell near the penalty area in the 63rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Apocalípticos & Caóticos's protests and gave Segundo Ireno a yellow card for diving instead. In the 64th match minute, Apocalípticos & Caóticos was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Segundo Ireno to maneuver through the defense. Fulgencio Garaile had in the 65thth minute some difficulties stopping Santo Dominguez's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. Fulgencio Garaile didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Santo Dominguez went, in the 65th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-0 was the resulting score. In the 69th minute, Bernardo Lawrence hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Gutenberg's Braulio Etxekopar was substituted for Santo Dominguez. Bernardo Lawrence hit a great freekick 70 minutes into the match. A collision led to Gutenberg getting a freekick after 72 minutes play. Aurelio Mattin hit a great ball. After a rather tough play, Apocalípticos & Caóticos's Nereo Salomone got a free kick in the 74th minute. Aurelio Mattin struck a weak shot in the 75th minute. Fulgencio Garaile didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Gutenberg. Gutenberg's Fausto Peruanton got a good chance for a goal in the 80th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Fulgencio Garaile showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Braulio Etxekopar, who was totally free with the ball in the 84th minute. A collision led to Gutenberg getting a freekick after 85 minutes play. Bernardo Lawrence hit a great ball. Jeremias Vidal recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 86th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a rather tough play, Gutenberg's Tiburcio Ovando got a free kick in the 87th minute. After 89 minutes, Jeremias Vidal mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Apocalípticos & Caóticos and the Gutenberg players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Gutenberg booed when Apocalípticos & Caóticos was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 89 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jeremias Vidal didn't get a good kick on the ball. With a little luck, Gutenberg's Sebastian Rojelio got control of the ball when Clemente Txema tried to sneak it across the goal line. Fulgencio Garaile took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Baldomero Marcones, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Gutenberg fans cheered their team off the field, for while Apocalípticos & Caóticos had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
