Felix Mihăilescu could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 3rd minute of the match, but Maurits Weinhardt made a huge save. Virgil Jupân received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Maurits Weinhardt came out and tried to block the shot, but Virgil Jupân slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 5th minute. 8 minutes into the match, Pheonix FC's goal looked a bit too open when Felix Mihăilescu came free, but Maurits Weinhardt reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 11 minutes into the match, Pheonix FC's goalkeeper Maurits Weinhardt had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Golo Phoenix. 13 minutes into the match, Pheonix FC's goal looked a bit too open when Virgil Jupân came free, but Maurits Weinhardt reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Felix Mihăilescu could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 15th minute of the match, but Maurits Weinhardt made a huge save. Piet Albertus kicked well hit freekick during the 17th minute of the match. The audience was convinced that Felix Mihăilescu's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Maurits Weinhardt was relentless in the 20th minute of the game. Maurits Weinhardt stood somewhat misplaced when Felix Mihăilescu came free in front of goal and shot 2-0 to the left of him in the 24 minute. After having played for 33 minutes, Felix Mihăilescu managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. PHOENIX Cluj-Napoca's supporters crossed their fingers, but Felix Mihăilescu was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Maurits Weinhardt was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Virgil Jupân showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 3-0 in the 35 minute of play. 38 minutes into the game, Sorin Nicorici threw the ball into play from the sideline. Pheonix FC's Laust Kisling quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Maurits Weinhardt was out of position in the 45 minute of play, and Virgil Jupân capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Virgil Jupân really showed his touch with that goal: 4-0. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Golo Phoenix to strike the kick off in the second half. 52 minutes into the game, Golo Phoenix cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 5-0. Maurits Weinhardt was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Virgil Jupân succeeded in the game's 55th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 6-0. Maurits Weinhardt showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Felix Mihăilescu in the 66th minute of the match. After 67 played minutes Pheonix FC got a freekick which was hit by Nils Taffenberg. After 68 played minutes, PHOENIX Cluj-Napoca's Sorin Nicorici shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Maurits Weinhardt came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in PHOENIX Cluj-Napoca reached it. An unexpectedly hard shot by Virgil Jupân in the 70th minute of play forced Pheonix FC's goalkeeper Maurits Weinhardt to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 85th minute Felix Mihăilescu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Maurits Weinhardt saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Sorin Nicorici recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 87th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 88 played minutes PHOENIX Cluj-Napoca got a freekick which was hit by Tiberiu Rotariu. 96 minutes into the game, Virgil Jupân cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 7-0. Maurits Weinhardt was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in.
