The Underdogs's supporters rose to their feet, but Roland Boon was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ciprian Barboni breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 13th minute Roland Boon shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ciprian Barboni saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ciprian Barboni came out of the goal in the 23rd minute to try and stop a shot by The Underdogs's Roland Boon. But to his dismay, Roland Boon quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. A collision led to FC Luck getting a freekick after 30 minutes play. Costică Nanu hit a great ball. Roland Boon struck a weak shot in the 31st minute. Ciprian Barboni didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for The Underdogs. 35 minutes into the match, The Underdogs's Roland Boon sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Ciprian Barboni narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After 37th play minutes Roland Boon shot 0-2, a short shot which went by Ciprian Barboni and just under the crossbar into goal. In the 40th minute, Roland Boon left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The The Underdogs fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-3. An unexpectedly hard shot by Roland Boon in the 47th minute of play forced FC Luck's goalkeeper Ciprian Barboni to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The FC Luck players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. The Underdogs were winning 0-4.

After having played for 55 minutes, Roland Boon managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. The Underdogs's supporters crossed their fingers, but Roland Boon was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Ciprian Barboni showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Roland Boon in the 57th minute of the match. 62 minutes in the game Nicu Nițoi did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Aurelian Bulgar. After 62 played minutes The Underdogs got a freekick which was hit by Maurice van Rhijn. The throw-in from Nicu Nițoi in the 65th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by The Underdogs's Bjorn Veltman. 68 minutes into the match, FC Luck's goal looked a bit too open when Roland Boon came free, but Ciprian Barboni reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 69 minutes into the game, Petru Vişoianu cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-4. Nico van Kampen was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 75th minute Daniel Mitescu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nico van Kampen saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 78 minutes into the game, Corné Knopper was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. The Underdogs's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave FC Luck the free kick. In the 78th match minute, The Underdogs was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Corné Knopper to maneuver through the defense. When Roland Boon fell near the penalty area in the 83rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored The Underdogs's protests and gave Roland Boon a yellow card for diving instead. In the 83rd match minute, The Underdogs was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Roland Boon to maneuver through the defense. Roland Boon took the ball and in the 88 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ciprian Barboni. Ciprian Barboni dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-5. Ciprian Barboni made a fantastic save in the 91st minute, when Roland Boon sent off a good shot on target. The Underdogs's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
