In the 13th minute Gwidon Gejda shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Wincenty Bielecki saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Zbigniew Pryputnicki kicked well hit freekick during the 14th minute of the match. 15 minutes into the match, Gwidon Gejda notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of WZG Sandomierz's Wincenty Bielecki. Wincenty Bielecki was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 25th minute Gwidon Gejda shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Wincenty Bielecki saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to WZG Sandomierz getting a freekick after 28 minutes play. Leonard Hajduk hit a great ball. Wincenty Bielecki took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gwidon Gejda, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 30th match minute, WZG Sandomierz was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Napoleon Odachowski to maneuver through the defense. In the 37th minute, Piast Leszczyny's Lucjan Czerwinski seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Lucjan Czerwinski the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Piast Leszczyny protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Lucjan Czerwinski had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. After 37 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Piast Leszczyny! The referee gave WZG Sandomierz a penalty, 39 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Jerzy Winszman, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Piast Leszczyny's Edward Galagan. 1-2. In the 42nd match minute, Piast Leszczyny was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sylwester Purzycki to maneuver through the defense. 44 minutes into the match, Piast Leszczyny's goal looked a bit too open when Napoleon Odachowski came free, but Edward Galagan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.

Igor Cichowski struck a weak shot in the 54th minute. Wincenty Bielecki didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Piast Leszczyny. In the 56th minute, Jerzy Winszman hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The supporters of WZG Sandomierz booed when Piast Leszczyny was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 57 match minutes in a wonderful position. Radoslaw Pawlak didn't get a good kick on the ball. Edward Galagan came out of the goal in the 62nd minute to try and stop a shot by WZG Sandomierz's Dariusz Kostrzewa. But to his dismay, Dariusz Kostrzewa quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-2. In the 65th minute, Roch Marosz ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Edward Galagan was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-2. After a rather tough play, WZG Sandomierz's Napoleon Odachowski got a free kick in the 69th minute. Piast Leszczyny's Konrad Niziolek was substituted for Wit Klawki. Piast Leszczyny's Miroslaw Pahucki was substituted for Jan Kolbe. Piast Leszczyny's Jedrzej Jaszcz was substituted for Mariusz Gniech. The supporters of Piast Leszczyny booed when WZG Sandomierz was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 70 match minutes in a wonderful position. Napoleon Odachowski didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Radoslaw Pawlak came up free with the goalie in the 71st minute, the Piast Leszczyny fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Radoslaw Pawlak couldn't finish the play. In the 74th minute the ball was on its way in behind Piast Leszczyny's goalkeeper Edward Galagan, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Igor Cichowski sent away a hard shot on goal in the 75th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Napoleon Odachowski in the 77th minute of play forced Piast Leszczyny's goalkeeper Edward Galagan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Sylwester Purzycki fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 78th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Wincenty Bielecki having to interfere. Napoleon Odachowski kicked well hit freekick during the 89th minute of the match. Piast Leszczyny's Edward Galagan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Roch Marosz in the 92nd minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 94th minute, Igor Cichowski managed to get in a good position for a shot. Piast Leszczyny's supporters rose to their feet, but Igor Cichowski was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Wincenty Bielecki breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick.
