Niclas Svanberg came out of the goal and Norbert Gregorczyk tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After a rather tough play, ◄19A10► Widzew Łódź's Dominik Karanowski got a free kick in the 8th minute. After some careless play in the ◄19A10► Widzew Łódź defense, Manfred Josefsson kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Marek Gdowik. The ◄19A10► Widzew Łódź fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Marek Gdowik should have stopped the shot. Manfred Josefsson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marek Gdowik having to interfere. When the match had gone on for 22 minutes, Kazimierz Miazga took a quick shot and it went in 1-1 without a chance for Niclas Svanberg to make any attempt to save it. In the 26th match minute, LA VIOLA was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kalle Nordgren to maneuver through the defense. Bogdan Zagrobelny hit a great freekick 31 minutes into the match. Håkan Dalberg's late challenge caught a ◄19A10► Widzew Łódź's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Håkan Dalberg helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to LA VIOLA getting a freekick after 32 minutes play. Håkan Dalberg hit a great ball. 33 minutes into the match, LA VIOLA's goalkeeper Niclas Svanberg had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Arkadiusz Zaworski. Niclas Svanberg showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Norbert Gregorczyk, who was totally free with the ball in the 37th minute. If Arkadiusz Zaworski had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Arkadiusz Zaworski to make the kick off. Niclas Svanberg took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Arkadiusz Zaworski, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 56th minute, Arkadiusz Zaworski made a precise shot to the right of Niclas Svanberg. LA VIOLA's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-1. After 62 minutes, Jurand Wojtkiewicz mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the ◄19A10► Widzew Łódź and the LA VIOLA players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of ◄19A10► Widzew Łódź booed when LA VIOLA was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 71 match minutes in a wonderful position. Manfred Josefsson didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kazimierz Miazga in the 72nd minute of play forced LA VIOLA's goalkeeper Niclas Svanberg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 76 minutes into the match, ◄19A10► Widzew Łódź's goalkeeper Marek Gdowik had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Håkan Dalberg. Arkadiusz Zaworski recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 92nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Arkadiusz Zaworski in the 93rd minute of play forced LA VIOLA's goalkeeper Niclas Svanberg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 95 minutes into the match, Kazimierz Miazga had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Niclas Svanberg. LA VIOLA's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Kazimierz Miazga was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-1. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. ◄19A10► Widzew Łódź fully deserved thier win.
