Paunero's Pastor Quirce suffered a sore thigh after 14 minutes and couldn't finish the game. Sixto Cloyo charged in rather forcefully in the 14th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Sixto Cloyo the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Paunero booed when The Old Boys was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 15 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sixto Cloyo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Nicolas Tancredo's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 20thth minute, Vinicio Bidari skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Silverio Semeno took the ball and in the 21 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Vinicio Bidari. Vinicio Bidari dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. Jairo Lizar scored 2-1 in the 26th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Modesto Theodore, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 32 minutes into the game, Nicolas Tancredo cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-1. In the 38th minute, Jairo Lizar got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 41 minutes, Lupe Castañeda mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the The Old Boys and the Paunero players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Paunero getting a freekick after 45 minutes play. Fermin Neto hit a great ball. After 46 played minutes, The Old Boys's Tiburcio Longa shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Modesto Theodore came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in The Old Boys reached it. After 47 played minutes The Old Boys got a freekick which was hit by Jairo Lizar.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Feliciano Leoiar made a kick off. 52 minutes into the match, Benigno Iago had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Vinicio Bidari. The Old Boys's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Benigno Iago was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-1. Vinicio Bidari showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Benigno Iago, who was totally free with the ball in the 55th minute. The crowd rose to their feet as The Old Boys's Feliciano Leoiar slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Modesto Theodore. That made the score 4-2 after 66 minutes of play. 69 minutes into the match, The Old Boys's goal looked a bit too open when Silverio Semeno came free, but Vinicio Bidari reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 72 minutes into the match, The Old Boys's goal looked a bit too open when Benigno Iago came free, but Vinicio Bidari reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Vinicio Bidari was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. An unexpectedly hard shot by Emilio Ruy in the 90th minute of play forced The Old Boys's goalkeeper Vinicio Bidari to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. But to his dismay, Silverio Semeno quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 6-2. In the 97th minute, Benigno Iago ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Vinicio Bidari was frozen by the shot and now it was 7-2. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Paunero fully deserved thier win.
