Carolo Perico made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Roland Cirella in the 3rd minute of play. Karim Gerber took the ball and in the 4 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Carolo Perico. Carolo Perico dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Luis Romero received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Hannes Saenger came out and tried to block the shot, but Luis Romero slotted it home off the left post making it 1-1 in the 13th minute. FC Wil 1900's defense didn't have a chance, in the 17th minute, when Luis Romero scored to the left of an out of position Hannes Saenger, making the score, 2-1. In the 24th minute Mischa Guibord shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Carolo Perico saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Feliciano Oskarbi charged in rather forcefully in the 26th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Feliciano Oskarbi the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 26th minute, Feliciano Oskarbi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 28 minutes of play, FC Wil 1900's Joshua Anderhub made it 2-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Carolo Perico was left in no man's land by his defense there! FC Wil 1900's defense didn't have a chance, in the 32nd minute, when Luis Romero scored to the left of an out of position Hannes Saenger, making the score, 3-2. Carolo Perico showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Karim Gerber, who was totally free with the ball in the 37th minute. Luis Romero's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Hannes Saenger read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 40th minute of play. 41 minutes into the match, El Renacer del Quijano FC's goal looked a bit too open when Mischa Guibord came free, but Carolo Perico reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to FC Wil 1900 getting a freekick after 45 minutes play. Luca Parolini hit a great ball. Luis Romero fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hannes Saenger having to interfere. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-2 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Mischa Guibord made a kick off. After 51 minutes of play, FC Wil 1900's Roland Cirella made it 3-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Carolo Perico was left in no man's land by his defense there! The supporters of FC Wil 1900 booed when El Renacer del Quijano FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 54 match minutes in a wonderful position. Feliciano Oskarbi didn't get a good kick on the ball. Karim Gerber could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 56th minute of the match, but Carolo Perico made a huge save. After some fancy dribbling in the 58th minute, Luis Romero managed to get in a good position for a shot. El Renacer del Quijano FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Luis Romero was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Hannes Saenger breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 64 played minutes El Renacer del Quijano FC got a freekick which was hit by Lucas Cristos. After 65 played minutes, FC Wil 1900's Joshua Anderhub shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Carolo Perico came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in FC Wil 1900 reached it. Carolo Perico made a fantastic save in the 71st minute, when Mischa Guibord sent off a good shot on target. Hannes Saenger showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Zbyszek Jaruzelski in the 73rd minute of the match. After 73 minutes of play, El Renacer del Quijano FC's Zbyszek Jaruzelski made it 4-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Hannes Saenger was left in no man's land by his defense there! A hard shot 79 in the game by Karim Gerber from a close distance when the talented Carolo Perico managed to make a qualified save. El Renacer del Quijano FC's players were relieved. Roland Cirella fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Carolo Perico having to interfere. Carolo Perico showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mischa Guibord in the 87th minute of the match. The supporters of El Renacer del Quijano FC booed when FC Wil 1900 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 88 match minutes in a wonderful position. Karim Gerber didn't get a good kick on the ball. 89 minutes into the game, Lucas Cristos was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. El Renacer del Quijano FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave FC Wil 1900 the free kick. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. El Renacer del Quijano FC had won after a very even match.
