Nicolás Castillo scored 0-1 in the 8th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Waldemar Pawlik, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. A collision led to Jataiense Futebol Clube getting a freekick after 11 minutes play. Lisandro Martínez hit a great ball. After having played for 12 minutes, Zbigniew Boniek managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Chelmza Team's supporters crossed their fingers, but Zbigniew Boniek was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 14 minutes into the match, Chelmza Team's goal looked a bit too open when Horácio Gonçalves came free, but Waldemar Pawlik reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Waldemar Pawlik made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nicolás Castillo in the 15th minute of play. Jataiense Futebol Clube's Thiago Paraibano proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 18th minute of the match, managed to save Jataiense Futebol Clube from getting a goal against them. Chelmza Team's Waldemar Pawlik played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Horácio Gonçalves in the 20th minute of play. Lu Yuan Yin's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Thiago Paraibano firmly grabbed it by the left post. 25 minutes into the match, Jataiense Futebol Clube's goalkeeper Thiago Paraibano had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Lu Yuan Yin. Gualter Gulak might have been able to make a better finish in the 35th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Waldemar Pawlik. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. During this time Jataiense Futebol Clube's players had a chance to rest. The corner ended in Luizão Pesquera almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Chelmza Team's Waldemar Pawlik did a great save. Thiago Paraibano made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Zikri Eygül in the 58th minute of play. Waldemar Pawlik showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nicolás Castillo, who was totally free with the ball in the 60th minute. 62 minutes into the match, Zikri Eygül notched a goal, 1-2, to the right of Jataiense Futebol Clube's Thiago Paraibano. Thiago Paraibano was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After some careless play in the Jataiense Futebol Clube defense, Segundo Casco kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Thiago Paraibano. The Jataiense Futebol Clube fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Thiago Paraibano should have stopped the shot.
