Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Shame!'s Cristi Foltea started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. The XMAS fans' excitement grew in the 9th match minute when XMAS's Ernesto Minichiello looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Gigel Gorgan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ernesto Minichiello in the 13th minute of the match. Ennio De Nardis received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 16th minute. Gigel Gorgan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Teodor Lucaci kicked well hit freekick during the 20th minute of the match. When Teodor Lucaci fell near the penalty area in the 21st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Shame!'s protests and gave Teodor Lucaci a yellow card for diving instead. XMAS's Domenico Mantini was substituted for Alberigo Gianfrancesco. After a rather tough play, Shame!'s Teodor Lucaci got a free kick in the 22nd minute. 23 minutes into the match, Shame!'s goalkeeper Gigel Gorgan had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Concetto Marinucci. Remus Chilian hit a great freekick 30 minutes into the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Cristi Foltea in the 33rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Armando Polidori saved XMAS from getting behind. The supporters of XMAS booed when Shame! was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 35 match minutes in a wonderful position. Marcel Pătrășconiu didn't get a good kick on the ball.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Ernesto Minichiello stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Ernesto Minichiello recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 51st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Gigel Gorgan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ernesto Minichiello in the 53rd minute of play. Shame!'s Gigel Gorgan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ernesto Minichiello in the 54th minute of play. Eusebiu Siniştean might have been able to make a better finish in the 59th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Armando Polidori. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Eusebiu Siniştean ran back to his position shaking his head. Sever Dobrescu charged in rather forcefully in the 61st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Sever Dobrescu the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of XMAS booed when Shame! was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 61 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sever Dobrescu didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 64th minute, Marcel Pătrășconiu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The supporters of XMAS booed when Shame! was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 66 match minutes in a wonderful position. Andrei Opincaru didn't get a good kick on the ball. Shame! made a substitution. Anton Mîțu replaced Sever Dobrescu. After a rather tough play, Shame!'s Andrei Opincaru got a free kick in the 67th minute. Shame!'s Gigel Gorgan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Domenico Mantini in the 70th minute of play. With a little luck, XMAS's Armando Polidori got control of the ball when Grigore Rizescu tried to sneak it across the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Grigore Rizescu got free with Armando Polidori in the 75th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When the match clock showed 81 minutes, the score became 1-2 when Eusebiu Siniştean sped through XMAS's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Armando Polidori. Grigore Rizescu recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 84th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 84 minutes into the match, Shame!'s Grigore Rizescu sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Armando Polidori narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After 86 played minutes Shame! got a freekick which was hit by Teodor Lucaci. Grigore Rizescu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Armando Polidori having to interfere. When the final whistle went the supporters of Shame! were delighted that their team had defeated the much more dominant XMAS side.
