Simão Travassos started the match with the kick off. 7 minutes had been played when some careless play by Jenipapo SC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Szczepan Mazierz was slow to take the kick. During this time Snorlax FC's players had a chance to rest. Snorlax FC's Szczepan Mazierz was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Luiz Fernando Neto in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. 13 minutes into the match, Jenipapo SC's goal looked a bit too open when Szczepan Mazierz came free, but Luiz Fernando Neto reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Snorlax FC's Tibalt Bruna got a free kick in the 22nd minute. Sancho Vesel showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rômulo Guimarães, who was totally free with the ball in the 25th minute. In the 26th minute, Leonardo Magalhães hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Enmanuel Monroy had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Snorlax FC booed when Jenipapo SC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 37 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sílvio Luiz de Toledo didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tibalt Bruna in the 39th minute of play forced Jenipapo SC's goalkeeper Luiz Fernando Neto to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 42 minutes into the match, Szczepan Mazierz had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Luiz Fernando Neto. Jenipapo SC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Szczepan Mazierz was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. Jenipapo SC's Luiz Fernando Neto played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Szczepan Mazierz in the 45th minute of play. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

With a little luck, Jenipapo SC's Luiz Fernando Neto got control of the ball when Enmanuel Monroy tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 52nd minute Snorlax FC were awarded a corner. Szczepan Mazierz went to the cornerflag to take it. A nice corner shot did that Szczepan Mazierz got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Luiz Fernando Neto quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Luiz Fernando Neto made an important save on a dangerous shot by Szczepan Mazierz in the 53rd minute. 54 minutes into the game, Sílvio Luiz de Toledo was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Jenipapo SC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Snorlax FC the free kick. In the 54th match minute, Jenipapo SC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sílvio Luiz de Toledo to maneuver through the defense. With 59 minutes on the clock, Ferdinando Souza commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. The audience thought a goal was coming when Szczepan Mazierz got free with Luiz Fernando Neto in the 67th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Luiz Fernando Neto made an important save on a dangerous shot by Szczepan Mazierz in the 81st minute. 85 minutes into the match, Jenipapo SC's goalkeeper Luiz Fernando Neto had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Enmanuel Monroy. After having played for 91 minutes, Enmanuel Monroy managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Snorlax FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Enmanuel Monroy was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The Jenipapo SC fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Snorlax FC were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
