The referee gave Belgrano LOS PIRATAS a penalty, 5 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Ivan Drago, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Silver Squad AFC's Diederiek Heijligen. 0-1. The audience was convinced that Luís Fabiano Artime's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Diederiek Heijligen was relentless in the 9th minute of the game. Silver Squad AFC's Diederiek Heijligen played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Luís Fabiano Artime in the 11th minute of play. Nahuel Losada showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Henri Goffeyn in the 14th minute of the match. Alejo Elizardo hit a great freekick 16 minutes into the match. Nahuel Losada took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Christoffel Callewaert, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 20th minute Walter Gheysen shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nahuel Losada saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Luís Fabiano Artime received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 21st minute. Diederiek Heijligen tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 22 played minutes Belgrano LOS PIRATAS got a freekick which was hit by Silverio Froylan. In the 27th match minute, Silver Squad AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Aaron Castermans to maneuver through the defense. Anastasio Orlondo kicked well hit freekick during the 35th minute of the match. In the 40th match minute, Belgrano LOS PIRATAS was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Luís Fabiano Artime to maneuver through the defense. Diederiek Heijligen came out of the goal in the 44th minute to try and stop a shot by Belgrano LOS PIRATAS's Luís Fabiano Artime. But to his dismay, Luís Fabiano Artime quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

The wind increased when Luís Fabiano Artime made the kick off in the second half. An unexpected shot in the 51st minute by Luís Fabiano Artime got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. 53 minutes into the match, Silver Squad AFC's goalkeeper Diederiek Heijligen had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Alejo Elizardo. Walter Gheysen charged in rather forcefully in the 54th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Walter Gheysen the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Belgrano LOS PIRATAS booed when Silver Squad AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 54 match minutes in a wonderful position. Walter Gheysen didn't get a good kick on the ball. Anastasio Orlondo hit a great ball. In the 70th minute of the match Gwenn Du Sausois sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Nahuel Losada skillfully saved the ball. If Gwenn Du Sausois had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 84th match minute, Belgrano LOS PIRATAS was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Luís Fabiano Artime to maneuver through the defense. In the 86th minute, Alejo Elizardo ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Diederiek Heijligen was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-4. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Belgrano LOS PIRATAS had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
