Eriberto Pinheiro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Flávio Vander, who was totally free with the ball in the 83rd minute. In the 84th match minute, C T Futebol Clube was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Vitinho Braga to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Paulo José Capixaba in the 87th minute of play forced Ricart Futebol Clube's goalkeeper Eriberto Pinheiro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 95th minute Flávio Vander shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eriberto Pinheiro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. C T Futebol Clube had won after a very even match.
