Salvidor Vanegas showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Qiu Feng Guo, who was totally free with the ball in the 14th minute. Qiu Feng Guo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Salvidor Vanegas read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 15th minute of play. Galo Espin's late challenge caught a Purple Talents's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Galo Espin helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, JUVENTUS BIANCONERI FC's Galo Espin got a free kick in the 19th minute. Victoro Cangas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 21st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Alessandro Del Piero could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 23rd minute of the match, but Steve Van der Veeken made a huge save. 29 minutes into the match, JUVENTUS BIANCONERI FC's goal looked a bit too open when Qiu Feng Guo came free, but Salvidor Vanegas reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The referee showed Vito Romeu the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play.

When Tansel Visali fell near the penalty area in the 50th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Purple Talents's protests and gave Tansel Visali a yellow card for diving instead. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Lilian Thuram during the 56th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Lilian Thuram hit a great freekick 56 minutes into the match. Qiu Feng Guo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 58th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Salvidor Vanegas showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ricky Waegemans in the 60th minute of the match. 63 minutes into the game, Godfredo Usarralde was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Qiu Feng Guo might have been able to make a better finish in the 70th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Salvidor Vanegas. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Qiu Feng Guo ran back to his position shaking his head. Purple Talents's Steve Van der Veeken played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alessandro Del Piero in the 73rd minute of play. In the 77th minute, Purple Talents's Qiu Feng Guo dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-2. 83 minutes into the game, Purple Talents's Ricky Waegemans nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Salvidor Vanegas made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-3. An unexpectedly hard shot by Qiu Feng Guo in the 90th minute of play forced JUVENTUS BIANCONERI FC's goalkeeper Salvidor Vanegas to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 94 minutes into the match, JUVENTUS BIANCONERI FC's goalkeeper Salvidor Vanegas had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Qiu Feng Guo.
