Spectators: 37 (Terracing: 29, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Ricky Waegemans took the kick off in the first half of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Qiu Feng Guo in the 3rd minute of play forced 1989 Blxsk's goalkeeper Aristides Etor to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Steve Van der Veeken stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Apolo Abreu's shot from short distance in the 8th minute. Steve Van der Veeken showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Celestino Millano, who was totally free with the ball in the 13th minute. Apolo Abreu's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 14thth minute, Steve Van der Veeken skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Qiu Feng Guo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 15th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 16 played minutes 1989 Blxsk got a freekick which was hit by Mick Snowdon. 1989 Blxsk's Celestino Millano got a good chance for a goal in the 18th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. A collision led to Purple Talents getting a freekick after 27 minutes play. Donato Azevedo hit a great ball. In the 28th minute of the match Sokol Mudrov sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Steve Van der Veeken skillfully saved the ball. Steve Van der Veeken took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Celestino Millano, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 34 minutes into the game, Purple Talents's Qiu Feng Guo nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Aristides Etor made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. 40 minutes into the match, Qiu Feng Guo had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Aristides Etor. 1989 Blxsk's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Qiu Feng Guo was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. Ricky Waegemans sent away a hard shot on goal in the 44th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Apolo Abreu to strike the kick off in the second half. Qiu Feng Guo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 51st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Steve Van der Veeken showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Celestino Millano in the 53rd minute of the match. Purple Talents's Fre De Beer got a good chance for a goal in the 55th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 58 minutes of play, 1989 Blxsk's Celestino Millano made it 1-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Steve Van der Veeken was left in no man's land by his defense there! After a rather tough play, 1989 Blxsk's Leonel Hibai got a free kick in the 62nd minute. After 63 played minutes 1989 Blxsk got a freekick which was hit by Leonel Hibai. After 71 played minutes Purple Talents got a freekick which was hit by Fre De Beer. Fre De Beer hit a great freekick 72 minutes into the match. In the 78thth minute of the game Qiu Feng Guo who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but 1989 Blxsk's Aristides Etor was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When Abel Marquez came up free with the goalie in the 79th minute, the 1989 Blxsk fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Abel Marquez couldn't finish the play. Celestino Millano sent away a hard shot on goal in the 81st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Aristides Etor made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ricky Waegemans in the 88th minute of play. A collision led to Purple Talents getting a freekick after 91 minutes play. Charl Anthonis hit a great ball. In the 95th minute, Abel Marquez ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Steve Van der Veeken was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-2. Neither set of supporters seemed pleased with the draw, but both teams had played equally well today.
