In the 9th minute of the match bullfinches got a corner. Rafaela FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Ferdinand Luca ran over to the corner to take the kick. Prospero Calvino made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Liviu Zubaşcu in the 18th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Rafaela FC's Eriberto Navarro got a free kick in the 19th minute. After 21 played minutes Rafaela FC got a freekick which was hit by Roque Marko. In the 22nd minute, Ferdinand Luca sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Rafaela FC's Prospero Calvino didn't even have to move. After 24th play minutes Liviu Zubaşcu shot 2-0, a short shot which went by Prospero Calvino and just under the crossbar into goal. After a rather tough play, bullfinches's Ferdinand Luca got a free kick in the 28th minute. A collision led to bullfinches getting a freekick after 30 minutes play. Costin Brașoveanu hit a great ball. Juan Perpinya sent away a hard shot on goal in the 30th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 34th minute of the match, Cornel Cudalb got a very nice opportunity to score, but Prospero Calvino was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Prospero Calvino made a fantastic save in the 38th minute, when Eusebiu Surdilă sent off a good shot on target. The audience thought a goal was coming when Eusebiu Surdilă got free with Prospero Calvino in the 39th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 41 minutes into the game, bullfinches's Cornel Cudalb nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Prospero Calvino made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-0. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 4-0.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Zeledon Locaio made a kick off. When Eriberto Navarro fell near the penalty area in the 50th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Rafaela FC's protests and gave Eriberto Navarro a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Rafaela FC getting a freekick after 51 minutes play. Eriberto Navarro hit a great ball. bullfinches's Nistor Sfetcu proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 53rd minute of the match, managed to save bullfinches from getting a goal against them. Prospero Calvino took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Liviu Zubaşcu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 60th minute Eusebiu Surdilă shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Prospero Calvino saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 65th minute, Liviu Zubaşcu left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The bullfinches fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 5-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Liviu Zubaşcu in the 68th minute of play forced Rafaela FC's goalkeeper Prospero Calvino to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for bullfinches.
