Firma Barnängen were awarded a corner in the 17th minute after FC KALELİ's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Patrick Kilström took the corner. Firma Barnängen's Vintilă Şimonca got a good chance for a goal in the 18th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Vintilă Şimonca had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 24 minutes into the match, FC KALELİ's goalkeeper Yavuz Selimhan Gulson had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Karl-Michael Jansson. Vecdet Karaca kicked well hit freekick during the 28th minute of the match. In the 31st minute, Patric Bierhoff made a precise shot to the right of Jimmie Ek. Firma Barnängen's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. After having played for 35 minutes, Kamil Reizers managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FC KALELİ's supporters crossed their fingers, but Kamil Reizers was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Vintilă Şimonca to make the kick off. After 54 played minutes Firma Barnängen got a freekick which was hit by Magne Runeberg. The audience thought a goal was coming when Patric Bierhoff got free with Jimmie Ek in the 56th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Yavuz Selimhan Gulson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Vintilă Şimonca, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to Firma Barnängen getting a freekick after 79 minutes play. Vintilă Şimonca hit a great ball. In the 85th minute, Patric Bierhoff reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Jimmie Ek. The goal made the score 1-4. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Vrasidas Kyrgiakos during the 90th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Vrasidas Kyrgiakos kicked well hit freekick during the 90th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kamil Reizers in the 91st minute of play forced Firma Barnängen's goalkeeper Jimmie Ek to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to Firma Barnängen getting a freekick after 92 minutes play. Orvar Gullesson hit a great ball. Patric Bierhoff took the ball and in the 93 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Jimmie Ek. Jimmie Ek dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-5. The FC KALELİ supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing FC KALELİ would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
