The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Mikael Åkerström the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Lost Boys Sports Academy protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Mikael Åkerström had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 12th minute of the game. One of Lost Boys Sports Academy:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Campus Douro Academy:s goal. In the 13th minute there was a penalty for Campus Douro Academy. Manuel França stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Per Landin. 2-0. Per Landin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hildeberto Palhares, who was totally free with the ball in the 19th minute. Américo Ramires blasted a shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Per Landin having to make a save. Américo Ramires sent away a hard shot on goal in the 25th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. In the 38th minute of the match, Hildeberto Palhares tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Per Landin saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Telmo Sesimbra got free with Per Landin in the 41st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 42nd minute Manuel França shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Per Landin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a little luck, Lost Boys Sports Academy's Per Landin got control of the ball when Adão Carvalheira tried to sneak it across the goal line. Per Landin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Manuel França in the 44th minute of the match. With his leg Per Landin managed to avoid a goal in the 45thth minute, when Campus Douro Academy's Telmo Sesimbra fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Per Landin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Américo Ramires, who was totally free with the ball in the 47th minute. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Lost Boys Sports Academy's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 9-0. Per Landin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hildeberto Palhares in the 70th minute of the match. Per Landin made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 13-0. There was no doubt that Campus Douro Academy were the better team. Campus Douro Academy's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
