Spectators: 47 (Terracing: 36, Seating: 11, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Felipe Porras got the match started through his kick off. After having played for 3 minutes, Ildefonso Joey managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Shuspendemo's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ildefonso Joey was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a rather tough play, Shuspendemo's Epifanio Santana got a free kick in the 10th minute. The supporters of Shuspendemo booed when CS La Libertad was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 12 match minutes in a wonderful position. Aureliano Frasquito didn't get a good kick on the ball. In a very dangerous position, a player in CS La Libertad fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 15th minute. Penalty! Urbano Medero walked up to take care of the penalty kick. He was aiming for the top corner, but the ball went just outside the post. Gogo Maurin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Edgar Bermudez in the 18th minute of play. 20 minutes into the match, Ildefonso Joey had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Omar Volio. CS La Libertad's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Ildefonso Joey was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. In the 26th minute Ildefonso Joey shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Omar Volio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 27 minutes into the match, CS La Libertad's goal looked a bit too open when Ildefonso Joey came free, but Omar Volio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. CS La Libertad's Omar Volio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Placido Calisto in the 31st minute of play. 33 minutes into the game, Felipe Porras recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Gogo Maurin. Felipe Porras showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-2. Ildefonso Joey took the ball and in the 35 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Omar Volio. Omar Volio dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-3. The audience thought a goal was coming when Edgar Bermudez got free with Gogo Maurin in the 39th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Omar Volio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Epifanio Santana, who was totally free with the ball in the 41st minute. Martin Chus charged in rather forcefully in the 42nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Martin Chus the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Edgar Bermudez in the 44th minute of play forced Shuspendemo's goalkeeper Gogo Maurin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ildefonso Joey sent away a hard shot on goal in the 45th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Omar Volio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ildefonso Joey, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After the first half Shuspendemo were leading 1-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Placido Calisto to strike the kick off in the second half. If Ildefonso Joey had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 51st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Gogo Maurin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Felipe Porras, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Omar Volio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ildefonso Joey, who was totally free with the ball in the 67th minute. In the 71st minute, Ildefonso Joey left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Shuspendemo fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-4. Shuspendemo made a substitution. Ruperto Arano replaced Ildefonso Joey. Shuspendemo's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
