After a rather tough play, Paulopolis's Giuseppe Varela got a free kick in the 16th minute. Leonel Vincente might have been able to make a better finish in the 23rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Marcel Mota. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Leonel Vincente ran back to his position shaking his head. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Leonel Vincente in the 26th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Marcel Mota prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When Rui Baiano fell near the penalty area in the 27th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Paulopolis's protests and gave Rui Baiano a yellow card for diving instead. Rui Baiano hit a great freekick 27 minutes into the match. Marcel Mota showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Angelino Baleren in the 29th minute of the match. 31 minutes into the match, Placido Calisto had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Marcel Mota. Paulopolis's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Placido Calisto was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Marcel Mota didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Ildefonso Joey went, in the 34th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. 37 minutes into the match, Paulopolis's goal looked a bit too open when Angelino Baleren came free, but Marcel Mota reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience was convinced that Angelino Baleren's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Marcel Mota was relentless in the 42nd minute of the game. Chico Andrade's late challenge caught a Shuspendemo's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Chico Andrade helped the player get up and apologised. After 85 played minutes Paulopolis got a freekick which was hit by Chico Andrade. After a defensive mix-up in Paulopolis's zone, Delmiro Jesco stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Marcel Mota came out of the goal and Delmiro Jesco tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 88th minute Cosme Gregory shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marcel Mota saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 89th minute, Shuspendemo's Isaac Orain ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Marcel Mota. Marcel Mota yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-7. Placido Calisto took the ball and in the 93 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Marcel Mota. Marcel Mota dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-8. Marcel Mota was out of position in the 97 minute of play, and Cosme Gregory capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Cosme Gregory really showed his touch with that goal: 0-9. When the final whistle sounded Shuspendemo left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Paulopolis.
