The supporters of Academia Rio booed when Ajax Colombiano was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 9 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rayman Rioseras didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 15th minute, Ajax Colombiano's Baba Ba dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. Anter Barroso made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eguzki Montecino in the 24th minute of play. Ajax Colombiano were awarded a corner in the 25th minute after Academia Rio's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Joppe Hvenegaard took the corner. After a rather tough play, Ajax Colombiano's Jaroslaw Soliwoda got a free kick in the 25th minute. In the 27th minute Eguzki Montecino shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Anter Barroso saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Anter Barroso made a fantastic save in the 32nd minute, when Baba Ba sent off a good shot on target. In the 35th minute of the match Academia Rio got a corner. Ajax Colombiano's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Sergiu Liciu ran over to the corner to take the kick. Avram Pârvan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 42nd minute. Lorenz Ureta tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Eguzki Montecino hit a great freekick 44 minutes into the match. In the 47th minute, Avram Pârvan ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Lorenz Ureta was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-2.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Eguzki Montecino to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 56th minute Baba Ba shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Anter Barroso saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Baba Ba took the ball and in the 56 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Anter Barroso. Anter Barroso dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-2. Ajax Colombiano made a substitution. Ivon Gasca replaced Jaroslaw Soliwoda. Ajax Colombiano's Amado Ba was substituted for Eguzki Montecino. Ajax Colombiano's Lorenz Ureta played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alin Năsturel in the 61st minute of play. In the 64th minute, Baba Ba ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Anter Barroso was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-2. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ivon Gasca in the 69th minute of play forced Academia Rio's goalkeeper Anter Barroso to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Anter Barroso showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Baba Ba, who was totally free with the ball in the 69th minute. In the 70th minute, Rayman Rioseras hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Academia Rio made a substitution. Ivan Oltean replaced Avram Pârvan. Olimpiu Dichiseanu's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Lorenz Ureta firmly grabbed it by the left post. 75 minutes into the match, Academia Rio's Ivan Oltean sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Lorenz Ureta narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Sergiu Liciu was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 80th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. 84 minutes into the match, Ajax Colombiano's goalkeeper Lorenz Ureta had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ivan Oltean. In the 88th match minute, Ajax Colombiano was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Pudes Checa to maneuver through the defense. After 88 played minutes, Academia Rio's Sergiu Liciu shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Lorenz Ureta came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Academia Rio reached it. In the 90th minute the ball was on its way in behind Academia Rio's goalkeeper Anter Barroso, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. With an all-out effort, Academia Rio's Lorenz Ureta threw himself towards the right post 95 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Virgil Şimonca, which otherwise would have been placed in the net.
