Roberto Cherro's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Eugenio Laincera read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 3rd minute of play. Roberto Cherro blasted a shot towards the goal in the 5th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Eugenio Laincera having to make a save. In the 5th minute Roberto Cherro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eugenio Laincera saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Roberto Cherro scored 1-0 in the 11th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Eugenio Laincera, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. If Carnero Arramendia had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 15th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Eugenio Laincera showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Roberto Cherro, who was totally free with the ball in the 17th minute. Eugenio Laincera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Roberto Cherro in the 19th minute of play. Roberto Cherro could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 20th minute of the match, but Eugenio Laincera made a huge save. Ornopata's Eugenio Laincera proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 24th minute of the match, managed to save Ornopata from getting a goal against them. Eugenio Laincera came out of the goal in the 25th minute to try and stop a shot by Deportivo Mandiyu's Roberto Cherro. But to his dismay, Roberto Cherro quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. In the 28th minute the ball was on its way in behind Ornopata's goalkeeper Eugenio Laincera, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 29th minute, Camilo Alderete got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The supporters of Ornopata booed when Deportivo Mandiyu was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 30 match minutes in a wonderful position. Eliseo Bilintx didn't get a good kick on the ball. Gonzales Subijana took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 31st minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Roque Narvaja. Deportivo Mandiyu's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Camilo Alderete received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 33rd minute. Roque Narvaja tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience was convinced that Roberto Cherro's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Eugenio Laincera was relentless in the 35th minute of the game. In the 36th minute, one of Ornopata:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Ornopata. The referee gave Deportivo Mandiyu a penalty, 37 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Roberto Cherro, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Ornopata's Eugenio Laincera. 3-0. Roberto Cherro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 42nd minute. Eugenio Laincera tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Eugenio Laincera showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Roberto Cherro, who was totally free with the ball in the 44th minute. Deportivo Mandiyu's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Ignacio Lopez in the 46th minute. Serafin Caitano was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post.

Eugenio Laincera showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Abelardo Magallanes in the 51st minute of the match. Ornopata's Eugenio Laincera played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Roberto Cherro in the 56th minute of play. 65 minutes into the game, Roberto Cherro cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 5-0. Eugenio Laincera was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Deportivo Mandiyu's Rayan MacQueen was substituted for Adrián Guillermo. In the 79th minute, Eliseo Bilintx hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 85thth minute of the game Chiquito Benítez who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Ornopata's Eugenio Laincera was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 87th minute Deportivo Mandiyu were awarded a corner. Ignacio Lopez went to the cornerflag to take it. After 87 minutes, Gonzales Subijana mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Ornopata and the Deportivo Mandiyu players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Deportivo Mandiyu booed when Ornopata was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 88 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gonzales Subijana didn't get a good kick on the ball. Eugenio Laincera showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Chiquito Benítez, who was totally free with the ball in the 93rd minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 97th minute, Urbez Naveros managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ornopata's supporters rose to their feet, but Urbez Naveros was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Roque Narvaja breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Deportivo Mandiyu's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
