In the 14th minute Prudencio Lavalle shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ismael Rossell saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Cipriano Abajas hit a great freekick 15 minutes into the match. 16 minutes into the match, NECKER49's goal looked a bit too open when Felix Pascua came free, but Keylor Navas reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Evaristo Abastas in the 22nd minute of play forced Loja S.C.'s goalkeeper Ismael Rossell to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 22nd minute, Evaristo Abastas made a precise shot to the right of Ismael Rossell. Loja S.C.'s defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. After 46 played minutes Loja S.C. got a freekick which was hit by Victor Peres. After the first half NECKER49 were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Victor Peres made a kick off. Felix Pascua struck a weak shot in the 52nd minute. Keylor Navas didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Loja S.C.. Keylor Navas made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alexandro Antoniano in the 53rd minute of play. Loja S.C.'s Ismael Rossell played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Evaristo Abastas in the 56th minute of play. In the 56th minute Evaristo Abastas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ismael Rossell saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Felix Pascua fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Keylor Navas having to interfere. 59 minutes into the match, Loja S.C.'s goalkeeper Ismael Rossell had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Raul Raymon. Ismael Rossell showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Prudencio Lavalle in the 60th minute of the match. When Loja S.C.'s Victor Peres in the 62nd minute got a chance for a shot 62nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye NECKER49's goalie prevented a goal. Loja S.C. made a substitution. Tomas Villadiego replaced Lisandro Gipils. NECKER49's Wilfredo Ebardo was substituted for Çelikan Başsoy. Keylor Navas didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Victor Peres went, in the 69th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-2 was the resulting score. Ismael Rossell showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Evaristo Abastas in the 80th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Loja S.C.'s Luis-Antonio Barraza got a free kick in the 81st minute. Through an outstanding action, after 84 minutes, Ismael Rossell successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. With a little luck, Loja S.C.'s Ismael Rossell got control of the ball when Prudencio Lavalle tried to sneak it across the goal line. A collision led to Loja S.C. getting a freekick after 90 minutes play. Victor Peres hit a great ball. In the 92nd match minute, Loja S.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Moisés Yañez to maneuver through the defense. Ismael Rossell made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Paulo Jurdan in the 94th minute of play.
