Michel Kinell showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jimmy-Floyd Sung, who was totally free with the ball in the 13th minute. Aitor Dorado fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Michel Kinell having to interfere. The audience was convinced that Kaká Fenomeno's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Alejandro Landa was relentless in the 44th minute of the game. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Espiridion Barrientos was the one to do the kick off. Jimmy-Floyd Sung's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Michel Kinell read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 51st minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Espiridion Barrientos in the 54th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Michel Kinell saved Nykvarn from getting behind. After some careless play in the Nykvarn defense, Dadá 魏延 kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Michel Kinell. The Nykvarn fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Michel Kinell should have stopped the shot. After a rather tough play, Nueva Adalucia's Ekhi Muelas got a free kick in the 69th minute. Nueva Adalucia's Alejandro Landa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kalle Eklund in the 70th minute of play. After 94 minutes Nueva Adalucia's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Kalle Eklund who took care of the corner kick. Nykvarn's Kalle Eklund was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Alejandro Landa in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in.
