The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After some fancy dribbling in the 3rd minute, Leonel Varela managed to get in a good position for a shot. Catugi FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Leonel Varela was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jens Bohlin breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The Köping fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Patrick Campidelis made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Elliott Bredberg in the 8th minute of play. Patrick Campidelis took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alex Lidström, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Patrick Campidelis showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Elliott Bredberg, who was totally free with the ball in the 10th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alex Lidström in the 16th minute of play forced Catugi FC's goalkeeper Patrick Campidelis to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Patrick Campidelis made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Adrian Brander in the 21st minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Köping's zone, Décio Matorin stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jens Bohlin came out of the goal and Décio Matorin tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. With a little luck, Köping's Jens Bohlin got control of the ball when Arthur Soeiro tried to sneak it across the goal line. After a rather tough play, Köping's Jens Berggren got a free kick in the 47th minute. Köping's Jens Bohlin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Luiz Fernando Rezende in the 48th minute of play. After the first half Köping were leading 1-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The wind increased when Arthur Soeiro made the kick off in the second half. A collision led to Catugi FC getting a freekick after 52 minutes play. Décio Matorin hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Arthur Soeiro in the 54th minute of play forced Köping's goalkeeper Jens Bohlin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 88th minute, Alex Lidström left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Köping fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-5.
