Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Mark Olsson started the match with the kick off. Jurand Frankowski received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 4th minute. Rune Söder tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Andreas Stolpe made in the 8th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Bernt Runberg. Czeslaw Domeracki could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 9th minute of the match, but Rune Söder made a huge save. Harry Andreasson was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 12 minutes into the match. In the 11th minute, one of Firma Barnängen:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Firma Barnängen. Rune Söder came out of the goal in the 13th minute to try and stop a shot by Olympique Gdynia's Şota Arveladze. But to his dismay, Şota Arveladze quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. 22 minutes into the game, Mark Olsson was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Firma Barnängen's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Olympique Gdynia the free kick. Rune Söder made a fantastic save in the 23rd minute, when Şota Arveladze sent off a good shot on target. Humberto Alcaraz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 27th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Rune Söder made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Czeslaw Domeracki in the 29th minute of play. The audience was convinced that Czeslaw Domeracki's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Rune Söder was relentless in the 31st minute of the game. Olympique Gdynia's Tanek Ostrowski played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Humberto Alcaraz in the 33rd minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 38th minute, Tirso Isasaga managed to get in a good position for a shot. Olympique Gdynia's supporters rose to their feet, but Tirso Isasaga was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Rune Söder breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After some careless play in the Firma Barnängen defense, Şota Arveladze kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Rune Söder. The Firma Barnängen fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Rune Söder should have stopped the shot. Firma Barnängen's Rune Söder proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 45th minute of the match, managed to save Firma Barnängen from getting a goal against them. 48 minutes had been played when some careless play by Firma Barnängen's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Fabio-Roman Zabaleta was slow to take the kick. During this time Olympique Gdynia's players had a chance to rest. The corner led to Olympique Gdynia's Tirso Isasaga getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Czeslaw Domeracki stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Czeslaw Domeracki blasted a shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Rune Söder having to make a save. Rune Söder made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Şota Arveladze in the 58th minute of play. After 61 minutes Firma Barnängen's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Fabio-Roman Zabaleta who took care of the corner kick. 69 minutes had been played when some careless play by Firma Barnängen's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Fabio-Roman Zabaleta was slow to take the kick. During this time Olympique Gdynia's players had a chance to rest. After having played for 71 minutes, Şota Arveladze managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Olympique Gdynia's supporters crossed their fingers, but Şota Arveladze was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 73rd minute Şota Arveladze shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rune Söder saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Rune Söder showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Şota Arveladze in the 79th minute of the match. Rune Söder made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Şota Arveladze in the 80th minute of play. After 81 played minutes Firma Barnängen got a freekick which was hit by Humberto Alcaraz. In the 82nd minute, Şota Arveladze left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Olympique Gdynia fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-0. If Jurand Frankowski had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Matthias Ekström charged in rather forcefully in the 92nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Matthias Ekström the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 93rd match minute, Firma Barnängen was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Matthias Ekström to maneuver through the defense. Rune Söder made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Czeslaw Domeracki in the 93rd minute of play. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Olympique Gdynia had played much better football throughout.
