Huib 甘 made a fantastic save in the 19th minute, when Rickard Erserman sent off a good shot on target. Chigüires De Mogadiscio's Huib 甘 proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 26th minute of the match, managed to save Chigüires De Mogadiscio from getting a goal against them. An unexpectedly hard shot by Grzegorz Rasiak in the 31st minute of play forced Inter de Chillán's goalkeeper Anton Björnberg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Huib 甘 made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Florencio Jax in the 39th minute of play. The supporters of Chigüires De Mogadiscio booed when Inter de Chillán was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 46 match minutes in a wonderful position. Karlos Novoa didn't get a good kick on the ball. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Grzegorz Rasiak to make the kick off. Grzegorz Zieba lost his temper 62 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. After a rather tough play, Chigüires De Mogadiscio's Naldo Esteves got a free kick in the 89th minute. 91 minutes into the game, Eladio Araujo cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Huib 甘 was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 95 minutes into the match, Chigüires De Mogadiscio's goal looked a bit too open when Samuel Abel came free, but Huib 甘 reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Inter de Chillán's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
