AC米兰's defense didn't have a chance, in the 46th minute, when Andres-Sebastian Kanchelskis scored to the left of an out of position Fu Feng Chong, making the score, 2-1. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

In the 58th minute of the match CERRO PORTEÑO got a corner. AC米兰's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Edgar Kensicki ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner ended in Edgar Kensicki almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but AC米兰's Fu Feng Chong did a great save. After a defensive mix-up in AC米兰's zone, Andres-Sebastian Kanchelskis stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Fu Feng Chong came out of the goal and Andres-Sebastian Kanchelskis tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 66th minute, Paulo Maldini hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Fu Feng Chong showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Andres-Sebastian Kanchelskis, who was totally free with the ball in the 71st minute. Andres-Sebastian Kanchelskis struck a weak shot in the 72nd minute. Fu Feng Chong didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for CERRO PORTEÑO. CERRO PORTEÑO's Cãlin Damaschin proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 79th minute of the match, managed to save CERRO PORTEÑO from getting a goal against them. The audience thought a goal was coming when 何威庭 got free with Cãlin Damaschin in the 79th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 80th match minute, AC米兰 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by 曾威梁 to maneuver through the defense. 81 minutes into the match, AC米兰's goal looked a bit too open when Edgar Kensicki came free, but Fu Feng Chong reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A sloppy throw-in by Hu Yong in the 83rd minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by CERRO PORTEÑO's Paulo Maldini. In the 87th minute the ball was on its way in behind AC米兰's goalkeeper Fu Feng Chong, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. CERRO PORTEÑO's attentive Paulo Maldini managed to snatch the ball when Hu Yong made a throw-in in the 89th minute of the game. Fu Feng Chong showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Andres-Sebastian Kanchelskis, who was totally free with the ball in the 91st minute. For all the effort they put into the match, the AC米兰 players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for CERRO PORTEÑO.
