After 22 minutes of play, FC Ouagadougou National's William Westelinx made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Dante Erramu was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 25th minute William Westelinx shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dante Erramu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Dante Erramu came out of the goal in the 25th minute to try and stop a shot by FC Ouagadougou National's William Westelinx. But to his dismay, William Westelinx quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. After a rather tough play, Defensores de Belén's Bartosz Pazura got a free kick in the 46th minute. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-3 lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for William Westelinx to strike the kick off in the second half. After a defensive mix-up in Defensores de Belén's zone, Hamza Yavaş stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Dante Erramu came out of the goal and Hamza Yavaş tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 56th minute, Sergen Şahbender left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The FC Ouagadougou National fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-4. Dante Erramu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from William Westelinx in the 63rd minute of play. Bartosz Pazura hit a great freekick 64 minutes into the match. William Westelinx took the ball and in the 66 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Dante Erramu. Dante Erramu dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-6. FC Ouagadougou National made a substitution. Jedrzej Kiszkiel replaced William Westelinx. Bartosz Pazura kicked well hit freekick during the 83rd minute of the match. 87 minutes into the match, Defensores de Belén's goal looked a bit too open when Jedrzej Kiszkiel came free, but Dante Erramu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Dante Erramu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jedrzej Kiszkiel, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of FC Ouagadougou National booed when Defensores de Belén was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 91 match minutes in a wonderful position. FC Ouagadougou National played a much better game than Defensores de Belén and deserved their victory. The Defensores de Belén players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
