When the match clock showed 6 minutes, the score became 1-0 when Aage Hill sped through Legia Stavanger's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Slavcho Kanov. In the 9th minute, Aage Hill ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Slavcho Kanov was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0. After 11 played minutes Legia Stavanger got a freekick which was hit by Gjermund Viste. An unexpectedly hard shot by Aage Hill in the 13th minute of play forced Legia Stavanger's goalkeeper Slavcho Kanov to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 14 minutes into the game, Nicolae Ciorogaru was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Legia Stavanger's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Monte Hermoso Beach the free kick. Nicolae Ciorogaru kicked well hit freekick during the 14th minute of the match. Slavcho Kanov made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Aage Hill in the 15th minute of play. Isidro Pacheco hit a great freekick 53 minutes into the match. Slavcho Kanov made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Séamus Babasidis in the 54th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Hector Montrel in the 56th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Slavcho Kanov saved Legia Stavanger from getting behind. The supporters of Monte Hermoso Beach booed when Legia Stavanger was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 59 match minutes in a wonderful position. Trygve Stormoen didn't get a good kick on the ball. Slavcho Kanov took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hector Montrel, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Hector Montrel in the 64th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Slavcho Kanov prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 65 played minutes Legia Stavanger got a freekick which was hit by Nicolae Ciorogaru. In the 66th minute, Hector Montrel ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Slavcho Kanov was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-0. In the 69th minute, Hector Montrel left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Monte Hermoso Beach fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-0. The throw-in from Nicolae Ciorogaru in the 72nd minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Monte Hermoso Beach's Teo Remigio. If Hector Montrel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Legia Stavanger's Slavcho Kanov played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hector Montrel in the 80th minute of play. The corner went over the outstretched arms of Legia Stavanger's goalie and right to Evert Holm. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. Legia Stavanger's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. The audience was convinced that Hector Montrel's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Slavcho Kanov was relentless in the 86th minute of the game. Legia Stavanger's Slavcho Kanov played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hector Montrel in the 87th minute of play. Monte Hermoso Beach's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Séamus Babasidis in the 88th minute.
