Atlético Nuevo Laredo's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-0. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Victorino Lazcano made a kick off. The Atlético Nuevo Laredo fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Benicio Javiero should have stopped the shot. 71 minutes into the match, Atlético Nuevo Laredo's goal looked a bit too open when Victorino Lazcano came free, but Benicio Javiero reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 73 minutes into the game, Freddy Restu threw the ball into play from the sideline. Purple Talents's Christoffer Lingren quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. After some fancy dribbling in the 74th minute, Victorino Lazcano managed to get in a good position for a shot. Purple Talents's supporters rose to their feet, but Victorino Lazcano was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Benicio Javiero breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 84th minute, Victorino Lazcano ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Benicio Javiero was frozen by the shot and now it was 5-0. After 91 played minutes Purple Talents got a freekick which was hit by Antoine Cromefeldt. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Purple Talents had won after a very even match.
