Luke Clist started the match with the kick off. 5 minutes into the match, Palmeiras's goal looked a bit too open when Fotis Katramados came free, but Régis de Queirós reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Olaf Kluczyk sent away a hard shot on goal in the 7th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fotis Katramados in the 8th minute of play forced Palmeiras's goalkeeper Régis de Queirós to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The corner went over the outstretched arms of Palmeiras's goalie and right to Bartlomiej Matela. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. Palmeiras's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. Régis de Queirós showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fotis Katramados, who was totally free with the ball in the 14th minute. In the 15th minute Luke Clist shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Franciszek Lerych saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Fotis Katramados might have been able to make a better finish in the 17th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Régis de Queirós. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Fotis Katramados ran back to his position shaking his head. 18 minutes into the match, Fotis Katramados notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Palmeiras's Régis de Queirós. Régis de Queirós was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fotis Katramados in the 21st minute of play forced Palmeiras's goalkeeper Régis de Queirós to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 22 minutes had been played when some careless play by Palmeiras's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Wendell Amos was slow to take the kick. During this time FC Dwa Do Ósmej's players had a chance to rest. It was a well-played corner which Fotis Katramados managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. After a rather tough play, FC Dwa Do Ósmej's Karl-Ove Hägert got a free kick in the 47th minute. If Iustin Bungeanu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 49th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Fotis Katramados was the one to do the kick off. After some fancy dribbling in the 54th minute, Fotis Katramados managed to get in a good position for a shot. FC Dwa Do Ósmej's supporters rose to their feet, but Fotis Katramados was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Régis de Queirós breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 56 played minutes Palmeiras got a freekick which was hit by Dênis Miranda. 57 minutes into the match, FC Dwa Do Ósmej's Fotis Katramados sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Régis de Queirós narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The audience was convinced that Leonardo Donato's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Franciszek Lerych was relentless in the 59th minute of the game. In the 60th minute, Fotis Katramados got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After a rather tough play, FC Dwa Do Ósmej's Nestor Giro got a free kick in the 64th minute. Palmeiras's José Carlos Simões was substituted for Iustin Bungeanu. A collision led to FC Dwa Do Ósmej getting a freekick after 65 minutes play. Nestor Giro hit a great ball. A nice corner shot did that Wendell Amos got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Régis de Queirós quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Franciszek Lerych showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tarcisio Reis, who was totally free with the ball in the 76th minute. When Arkadiusz Solibieda came up free with the goalie in the 77th minute, the FC Dwa Do Ósmej fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Arkadiusz Solibieda couldn't finish the play. In the 83rd minute, Lex De Prins hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 87 minutes into the game, FC Dwa Do Ósmej's Arkadiusz Solibieda nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Régis de Queirós made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-2. Ted Stabbe sent away a hard shot on goal in the 92nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Arkadiusz Solibieda had several of the Palmeiras's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 95 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 1-3 score and a disappointed Régis de Queirós as he didn't even see the shot coming. The FC Dwa Do Ósmej players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
