Cedric Ceballos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 4th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Manuel Campens having to interfere. In the 5th minute, Nuralp Akbal left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Pagos FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. 10 minutes into the match, Patay Juniors's goal looked a bit too open when Uwe Birmes came free, but Cayetano Francho reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 11th minute of the match Pagos FC got a corner. Patay Juniors's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Francisco Montae ran over to the corner to take the kick. Pagos FC's Francisco Montae was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Cayetano Francho in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nuralp Akbal in the 14th minute of play forced Patay Juniors's goalkeeper Cayetano Francho to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Leandro Astigar who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 19thth minute tested the skills of Manuel Campens when he managed to save the team from getting behind. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nuralp Akbal in the 21st minute of play forced Patay Juniors's goalkeeper Cayetano Francho to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Pagos FC were awarded a corner in the 22th minute after Patay Juniors's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Francisco Montae took the corner. The corner went over the outstretched arms of Patay Juniors's goalie and right to Pepe Sabatini. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. Patay Juniors's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. Cayetano Francho took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nuralp Akbal, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Nuralp Akbal's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Cayetano Francho read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 26th minute of play. Cayetano Francho showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nuralp Akbal in the 29th minute of the match. The audience was convinced that Nuralp Akbal's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Cayetano Francho was relentless in the 29th minute of the game. After 30 played minutes Patay Juniors got a freekick which was hit by Leandro Astigar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nuralp Akbal in the 31st minute of play forced Patay Juniors's goalkeeper Cayetano Francho to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 32nd minute Uwe Birmes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cayetano Francho saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. But to his dismay, Nuralp Akbal quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. Patay Juniors's Cayetano Francho played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nuralp Akbal in the 41st minute of play. With a little luck, Pagos FC's Manuel Campens got control of the ball when Leandro Astigar tried to sneak it across the goal line. Uwe Birmes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 43rd minute. Cayetano Francho tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 45th minute Nuralp Akbal shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cayetano Francho saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Nuralp Akbal in the 46th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Cayetano Francho saved Patay Juniors from getting behind. Cayetano Francho took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nuralp Akbal, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Nuralp Akbal to make the kick off. Cayetano Francho made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ionel Mirea in the 60th minute of play. 63 minutes into the match, Patay Juniors's goalkeeper Cayetano Francho had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Nuralp Akbal. With a little luck, Patay Juniors's Cayetano Francho got control of the ball when Nuralp Akbal tried to sneak it across the goal line. 63 minutes into the match, Nuralp Akbal had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Cayetano Francho. Patay Juniors's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Nuralp Akbal was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-3. Pagos FC made a substitution. Mjölnir Martelo received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Cayetano Francho came out and tried to block the shot, but Mjölnir Martelo slotted it home off the left post making it 0-4 in the 70th minute. With a little luck, Patay Juniors's Cayetano Francho got control of the ball when Mjölnir Martelo tried to sneak it across the goal line. 74 minutes into the match, Patay Juniors's goal looked a bit too open when Mjölnir Martelo came free, but Cayetano Francho reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Mjölnir Martelo's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Cayetano Francho firmly grabbed it by the left post. Cayetano Francho made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Christos Bartzokas in the 86th minute of play. A hard shot 86 in the game by Mjölnir Martelo from a close distance when the talented Cayetano Francho managed to make a qualified save. Patay Juniors's players were relieved. In the 91st minute, Mjölnir Martelo reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Cayetano Francho. The goal made the score 0-5. The Pagos FC supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Pagos FC would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
