In the 5th minute Emanuel Mogel shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Patrik Sikström saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Augusto Soeiro came free with the goalkeeper in the 6th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Oscar Ekhi could save by the left post. After 9 minutes of play, Quebrachitos FC's Emanuel Mogel made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Patrik Sikström was left in no man's land by his defense there! Paulo Renato Pombal made in the 12th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Augusto Soeiro. 13 minutes into the match, Quebrachitos FC's goalkeeper Oscar Ekhi had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Augusto Soeiro. Oscar Ekhi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gil Neves in the 16th minute of play. 16 minutes into the match, Quebrachitos FC's goal looked a bit too open when Gil Neves came free, but Oscar Ekhi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A throw-in in the 22nd minute of the game was made by Paulo Renato Pombal with Gil Neves as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. Oscar Ekhi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Acácio Santana, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 27 minutes into the match, Quebrachitos FC's Emanuel Mogel sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Patrik Sikström narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Patrik Sikström didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Emanuel Mogel went, in the 29th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-2 was the resulting score. Seterma Tractors's Patrik Sikström played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Emanuel Mogel in the 32nd minute of play. Aníbal Barca fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Patrik Sikström having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Seterma Tractors's Acácio Santana got a free kick in the 38th minute. 39 minutes into the match, Emanuel Mogel had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Patrik Sikström. Seterma Tractors's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Emanuel Mogel was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-3. Quebrachitos FC's Joel Senin quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Paulo Renato Pombal, made in the 41st minute of the game. In the 44th minute, Emanuel Mogel ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Patrik Sikström was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-4. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-4 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Aníbal Barca made a kick off. After some fancy dribbling in the 51st minute, Emanuel Mogel managed to get in a good position for a shot. Quebrachitos FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Emanuel Mogel was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Patrik Sikström breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Oscar Ekhi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Acácio Santana in the 53rd minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Aníbal Barca got free with Patrik Sikström in the 54th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Patrik Sikström made a fantastic save in the 56th minute, when Celestino Pes sent off a good shot on target. Patrik Sikström stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Emanuel Mogel's shot from short distance in the 65th minute. The corner led Quebrachitos FC's Celestino Pes to fire away a dangerous shot which Patrik Sikström despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Patrik Sikström showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Emanuel Mogel, who was totally free with the ball in the 74th minute. After 74 played minutes Seterma Tractors got a freekick which was hit by Acácio Santana. Aníbal Barca blasted a shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Patrik Sikström having to make a save. After some careless play in the Seterma Tractors defense, Emanuel Mogel kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Patrik Sikström. The Seterma Tractors fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Patrik Sikström should have stopped the shot. Quebrachitos FC's Oscar Ekhi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nilton de Queirós in the 81st minute of play. Patrik Sikström took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Emanuel Mogel, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 90 played minutes Quebrachitos FC got a freekick which was hit by Joel Senin. 91 minutes into the match, Enéas de Toledo notched a goal, 2-5, to the right of Quebrachitos FC's Oscar Ekhi. Oscar Ekhi was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Oscar Ekhi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nilton de Queirós, who was totally free with the ball in the 95th minute. The Quebrachitos FC players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
