An unexpectedly hard shot by Mujahid Dryburgh in the 43rd minute of play forced FC Brink's goalkeeper Pompiliu Zmărăndescu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, FC Brink's Romeo Balint got a free kick in the 45th minute. Disappointed in the 1-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Waldemar Mule fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 51st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Afiz Teo having to interfere. Pompiliu Zmărăndescu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jonathan Soon in the 53rd minute of play. In the 57th minute of the match, Waldemar Mule tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Afiz Teo saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. If Hidayat Peng had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Gheorghe Herea's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 64thth minute, Afiz Teo skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. When Noh Au fell near the penalty area in the 76th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Redbourn AFC's protests and gave Noh Au a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of FC Brink booed when Redbourn AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 76 match minutes in a wonderful position. Noh Au didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some careless play in the FC Brink defense, Didi Teo kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Pompiliu Zmărăndescu. The FC Brink fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Pompiliu Zmărăndescu should have stopped the shot. After having played for 81 minutes, Didi Teo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Redbourn AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Didi Teo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 93rd minute Noh Au shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pompiliu Zmărăndescu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The FC Brink players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
