After 23 played minutes C. A. Independiente got a freekick which was hit by Erberk Müftüoğlu. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Mohieddine Ayari in the 24th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Farid Mondragón prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Xu Yun Quan struck a weak shot in the 26th minute. Big Hands didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for C. A. Independiente. 28 minutes into the game, Mohieddine Ayari was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. BORBOTONES FUTBOL CLUB's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave C. A. Independiente the free kick. In the 28th match minute, BORBOTONES FUTBOL CLUB was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mohieddine Ayari to maneuver through the defense.
