But to his dismay, Jari Alenius quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. In the 28th minute, Jari Alenius made a precise shot to the right of Tanek Bielejewski. Grasshoppers Klucze's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-0. Tanek Bielejewski stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Jari Alenius's shot from short distance in the 32nd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tadeusz Raschke in the 33rd minute of play forced NAGANO F.C's goalkeeper Vellito Alguerdo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Grasshoppers Klucze's Tanek Bielejewski played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jari Alenius in the 35th minute of play. After 36 minutes Grasshoppers Klucze's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Clodoveo Weather who took care of the corner kick. Tadeusz Raschke hit a great ball. Jari Alenius sent away a hard shot on goal in the 47th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Jari Alenius to make the kick off. Jari Alenius might have been able to make a better finish in the 53rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Tanek Bielejewski. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Jari Alenius ran back to his position shaking his head. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jari Alenius in the 53rd minute of play forced Grasshoppers Klucze's goalkeeper Tanek Bielejewski to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some careless play in the Grasshoppers Klucze defense, Jari Alenius kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Tanek Bielejewski. The Grasshoppers Klucze fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Tanek Bielejewski should have stopped the shot. After 59 played minutes Grasshoppers Klucze got a freekick which was hit by Hieronim Skrzypek. In the 63rd minute, Tadeusz Raschke made a precise shot to the right of Vellito Alguerdo. NAGANO F.C's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-1. In the 67th match minute, NAGANO F.C was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Diego Beckenbauer to maneuver through the defense. Grasshoppers Klucze's Tanek Bielejewski played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Pertti Koskenkorva in the 71st minute of play. In the 88th minute Pedro Barrionuevo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vellito Alguerdo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Pawel Mietus blasted a shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Tanek Bielejewski having to make a save. Tanek Bielejewski showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Pawel Mietus in the 89th minute of the match. Pawel Mietus's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Tanek Bielejewski read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 94th minute of play.
