The audience thought a goal was coming when Darwin Núñez got free with Jens Bohlin in the 13th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Jens Bohlin made a fantastic save in the 16th minute, when Darwin Núñez sent off a good shot on target. Benjamim Mota hit a great freekick 19 minutes into the match. Köping's Eddie Viklund couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 20th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Merengue FC. Aquiles Urtsin recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 28th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Aquiles Urtsin kicked well hit freekick during the 30th minute of the match. When the match clock showed 32 minutes, the score became 2-0 when Aquiles Urtsin sped through Köping's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Jens Bohlin. Köping's Alex Lidström got a good chance for a goal in the 36th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Konrad Eriksson hit a great freekick 37 minutes into the match. Ediberto Sampaio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 40th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Adrian Brander to make the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Adrian Brander in the 52nd minute of play forced Merengue FC's goalkeeper Bayan Gugovski to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After having played for 53 minutes, Elliott Bredberg managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Köping's supporters crossed their fingers, but Elliott Bredberg was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Jens Bohlin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Darwin Núñez in the 54th minute of the match. Jens Bohlin didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Darwin Núñez went, in the 57th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-0 was the resulting score. Aquiles Urtsin kicked well hit freekick during the 60th minute of the match. Ediberto Sampaio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 63rd minute. Jens Bohlin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Köping's Jens Bohlin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Darwin Núñez in the 65th minute of play. Elliott Bredberg hit a great freekick 65 minutes into the match. After 66 minutes, Aquiles Urtsin made it 4-0 with a short kick to the right side. Jens Bohlin was frozen by the shot and now it was 5-0. 80 minutes into the match, Köping's goal looked a bit too open when Aquiles Urtsin came free, but Jens Bohlin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 83rd minute, Aquiles Urtsin got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 85th minute, Darwin Núñez left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Merengue FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 6-0. A collision led to Merengue FC getting a freekick after 87 minutes play. Edelmiro Quintyn hit a great ball. In the 89th minute Ediberto Sampaio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jens Bohlin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Fredrik Abelsson during the 93rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card.
