Joel Bertol made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Petros Mirtsos in the 3rd minute of play. In the 7th minute Santiago Silva shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Joel Bertol saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Joel Bertol showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Santiago Silva, who was totally free with the ball in the 12th minute. The audience was convinced that Sotiris Zacharakis's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Joel Bertol was relentless in the 14th minute of the game. Björn Kamp ran over to the corner to take the kick. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Aniol Peña in the 24th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ingvar Nykvist prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Gustav Kock's late challenge caught a JEMBer UTara's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Gustav Kock helped the player get up and apologised. In the 27th minute, Gustav Kock hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 31 played minutes ΠΑΟΚ FC got a freekick which was hit by Sotiris Zacharakis. JEMBer UTara were awarded a corner in the 34th minute after ΠΑΟΚ FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Cai Jun Wei took the corner. The corner led JEMBer UTara's Cai Jun Wei to fire away a dangerous shot which Ingvar Nykvist despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. ΠΑΟΚ FC made a substitution. Ronaldão Mendonça replaced Vassilis Bitsikas. After 46th play minutes Santiago Silva shot 2-1, a short shot which went by Joel Bertol and just under the crossbar into goal. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-1.

Rafet Nesip's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ingvar Nykvist read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 56th minute of play. 57 minutes into the match, JEMBer UTara's goal looked a bit too open when Santiago Silva came free, but Joel Bertol reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 60 minutes had been played when some careless play by JEMBer UTara's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Petros Mirtsos was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. The ΠΑΟΚ FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-2. JEMBer UTara's Lucas Eger managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Savas Karameris in the 79 minute of the game. In the 80thth minute of the game Rafet Nesip who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but ΠΑΟΚ FC's Ingvar Nykvist was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Ren Dang hit a great freekick 82 minutes into the match. The supporters of ΠΑΟΚ FC booed when JEMBer UTara was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 88 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ren Dang didn't get a good kick on the ball. Zheng Yang Zhen in the 91stth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Joel Bertol, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. When ΠΑΟΚ FC's Santiago Silva in the 96th minute got a chance for a shot 96th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie.
