Peter Blomkvist took the ball and in the 12 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Beat Leutwyler. Beat Leutwyler dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. In the 17th minute, Peter Blomkvist ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Beat Leutwyler was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0. Monterrey ante el Mundo⛥'s attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Antonio Alzamendi in the 22nd minute. Antonio Alzamendi made a great header on Monterrey ante el Mundo⛥'s corner, it was just that B68 Toftir's Beat Leutwyler managed to reach the ball for a save. If Peter Blomkvist had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. With a little luck, B68 Toftir's Beat Leutwyler got control of the ball when Peter Blomkvist tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 26th minute Peter Blomkvist shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Beat Leutwyler saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Peter Blomkvist had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Peter Blomkvist in the 29th minute of play forced B68 Toftir's goalkeeper Beat Leutwyler to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Joel Enekoitz kicked well hit freekick during the 30th minute of the match. B68 Toftir's Beat Leutwyler played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Peter Blomkvist in the 37th minute of play. In the 39th minute the ball was on its way in behind B68 Toftir's goalkeeper Beat Leutwyler, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After having played for 42 minutes, Peter Blomkvist managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Monterrey ante el Mundo⛥'s supporters crossed their fingers, but Peter Blomkvist was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Gökçe Yalazalp kicked well hit freekick during the 44th minute of the match. Lázaro Lizbeth took the ball and in the 47 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Nicasio Abad. Nicasio Abad dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1. Monterrey ante el Mundo⛥'s Pietro Salles was substituted for Peter Blomkvist. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.
After 53 played minutes B68 Toftir got a freekick which was hit by Cristi Floricel. With a little luck, Monterrey ante el Mundo⛥'s Nicasio Abad got control of the ball when Maximino Goi tried to sneak it across the goal line. Beat Leutwyler didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Pietro Salles went, in the 75th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-1 was the resulting score. 81 minutes into the match, B68 Toftir's goal looked a bit too open when Pietro Salles came free, but Beat Leutwyler reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Beat Leutwyler stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Pietro Salles's shot from short distance in the 81st minute. Beat Leutwyler showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Pietro Salles in the 85th minute of the match. B68 Toftir made a substitution. Bengt-Arne Blomberg replaced Khvicha Kvaratskhelia. In the 87th minute of the match Monterrey ante el Mundo⛥ got a corner. B68 Toftir's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Kosmas Banasopoulos ran over to the corner to take the kick. It was a well-played corner which Ahmet Demircioğlu managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. 90 minutes into the match, B68 Toftir's goal looked a bit too open when Pietro Salles came free, but Beat Leutwyler reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 93 minutes into the match, B68 Toftir's goal looked a bit too open when William Lebigot came free, but Beat Leutwyler reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 96th minute, Arkādijs Žurka hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With a little luck, Monterrey ante el Mundo⛥'s Nicasio Abad got control of the ball when Maximino Goi tried to sneak it across the goal line. B68 Toftir's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
