Dragolyub Buchkov fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alberto Andreola having to interfere. Radoy Froloshki received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 18th minute. Alberto Andreola tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Eraldo Ippoliti fell near the penalty area in the 19th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Valdieri's protests and gave Eraldo Ippoliti a yellow card for diving instead. In the 20th match minute, Valdieri was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Eraldo Ippoliti to maneuver through the defense. In the 20th minute of the match Tzvyatko Shanov sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Alberto Andreola skillfully saved the ball. After some careless play in the Valdieri defense, Dragolyub Buchkov kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Alberto Andreola. The Valdieri fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Alberto Andreola should have stopped the shot. Valdieri's Alberto Andreola played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Evgeni Kalkandzhiev in the 25th minute of play. With a little luck, ПАРТИЗАН Червен бряг's Georgi Velinov got control of the ball when Edoardo Rinaldi tried to sneak it across the goal line. If Evgeni Kalkandzhiev had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Dino Saurø kicked well hit freekick during the 29th minute of the match. Doychin Karamalkov took the ball and in the 41 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Alberto Andreola. Alberto Andreola dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-4. After some careless play in the Valdieri defense, Doychin Karamalkov kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Alberto Andreola. The Valdieri fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Alberto Andreola should have stopped the shot. After a rather tough play, Valdieri's Anfilogino Di Santo got a free kick in the 47th minute. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-5.

When the match had gone on for 70 minutes, Dragolyub Buchkov took a quick shot and it went in 0-7 without a chance for Alberto Andreola to make any attempt to save it.
