The audience thought a goal was coming when Romulo Lehen got free with Freddy Tilens in the 21st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 24th minute, Caetano da Silveira hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 27 minutes into the match, Grêmio Bulls's goal looked a bit too open when Axel Davus came free, but Henrique Prata reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Grêmio Bulls's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave KFC Paal-Tervant the free kick. A collision led to Grêmio Bulls getting a freekick after 46 minutes play. Tony Toscano hit a great ball. After 47 played minutes Grêmio Bulls got a freekick which was hit by Caetano da Silveira. After 48 minutes of play, KFC Paal-Tervant's Axel Davus made it 1-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Henrique Prata was left in no man's land by his defense there! The Grêmio Bulls players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. KFC Paal-Tervant were winning 1-2.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Axel Davus to strike the kick off in the second half.
